Mohamed Riyasuddin Anwar Batcha commenced his pupillage at Fahda Nur & Yusmadi in 2022 and was subsequently retained as a Legal Associate upon his admission as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in July 2023.

He supports the partners in a broad range of litigation matters, particularly construction-related disputes involving State Governments and government-linked companies, as well as corporate and commercial disputes, arbitration proceedings, appellate matters and Syariah-related cases. He plays a key role in the preparation and conduct of matters, including the drafting of cause papers, undertaking legal research and assisting in hearings.

His calm and measured approach, coupled with close attention to detail, has been instrumental in navigating complex legal issues, particularly in construction disputes.

During his tenure with the Firm, he has been involved in successfully defending a claim against the State Government of Selangor amounting to RM13 million, securing judgment in a breach of trust claim on behalf of a Selangor government-linked company amounting to RM4 million and successfully defended a claim brought by purchasers against a developer.
